Lifeline developed a high-end and reliable digital evidence management system (DEMS), created and built in the Netherlands. Some of its features are: create and manage users and user roles, control of retention period of evidence, full audit trail, sharing and export of video evidence, full audit trail, metadata and tagging, comments, etc.
Case management
Case management makes the search and storage of evidence easy. Cases can be created manually and evidence can be logged against the case. This can be bodycam footage but video files from other sources files can also be added, for example recordings from members of the public. A case can be exported completely with all metadata to send as an evidence pack
Usability and security
All Lifeline hardware and software products are developed with “Privacy by Design” and “Privacy by Default” as a standard by GDPR regulations. Role based management, AES encryption, TLS, 2-factor login are some features of DEMS.
User Account Management
User Accounts can be created and managed, and for each Account many abilities can be enabled or disabled, optimising privacy and security, and minimising room for errors.
