Abiom unveils the future of critical communications devices
22 June 2022
Lifeline Solutions launches the BC4 a new compact and sophisticated body worn camera
23 November 2022Split second decisions require split second responsiveness. Time is a precious commodity and to that end Lifeline Solutions has upgraded its platforms’ user interface to ensure that when time is ticking users can save vital seconds.
Lifeline Solutions carefully crafted new operating system boasts intuitive high-speed pathways, empowering the user to navigate with the minimum of click-throughs to create the perfect, bespoke response platform for any situation.
With every second of delay being critical, and having listened to requests from the most demanding users on the frontline, Lifeline Solutions was determined not to stop there! The new user interface has many enhanced features and benefits, including:
- Upgraded on-screen display to optimise functionality, control and speed of use, with the PTT button constantly visible whatever the function employed. Groups can be added, ordered and sequenced in an instant and are clearly defined by differentiated colour coded icons, which enables the smooth switching between and across groups.
- Enhanced functionality, incorporating live situational maps in to the revised display, as well as live chat and video capacity.
- Future proofing, allowing Lifeline Solutions to maintain its market relevance. Keeping it aligned with other applications within their end-to-end platform, including its dispatcher.
In addition, Lifeline Solutions:
- Engaged leading experts in ergonomics and design to ensure that on-screen buttons are configured to require the minimum of thumb and finger movement.
- Entrapped some of Lifeline Solutions engineers’ magic by building in a ‘wizard’ enabling the user to easily and quickly pre-set their main communications protocols without the need to consult a bulky user manual. The user doesn’t even need to think, the pre-sets allow operators to prioritise actions utilising instant profiles and channel assignment.
Lifeline Solutions recognise that none of this matters if even the slightest impact shuts the device down, and the company can confirm that its LTH-570 hand-held unit remains as tough as they come. Its robust casing protecting it from the rigours of field use and ensuring that it is fully functional when every second counts.
Bas de Grood, CEO Lifeline Solutions, commented, “Our customers requested the development of a user interface that maintained the principles and functionalities of a TETRA radio, converting these essentials on to IOS and Android operating systems. We listened, and after hiring experts who study user behaviour, we have incorporated user friendliness and intuitive handling into a functional modern design, allowing for superior comms efficiency.”
Aimed at end users within: public safety and defence; healthcare; public transport; aviation and shipping, as well as wider industrial and commercial sectors. The Lifeline Solutions portfolio offers critical communications through existing 4G/5G and has capacity to advance in line with technology.
The Lifeline Solutions platform is designed and developed in The Netherlands, 100% Dutch innovation at its best.
