Lifeline incorporates IWitness

Lifeline are excited to announce that IWitness now has been fully incorporated into the Lifeline Solutions portfolio, this resulting in the discontinuation of the brand name IWitness and the rebranding of the body worn video products within the Lifeline Solutions platform as: BC1, BC2 and BC4.

In 2021 the Missions Critical Group acquired the Dutch company IWitness who, for over 15 years, had been at the forefront of body worn video solutions, keeping the general public and law enforcement agents safe across Europe.

This move comes as part of Lifeline’s objective to provide a full end-to-end mission critical solution to global users within public safety and defence; healthcare; public transport; aviation and shipping; as well as wider industrial and commercial sectors.

Not only the product name may have changed, the reliability, functionality and durability has been optimized. A complete new software platform covering current and future demands from our customers have been implemented. New functions have been added and we will continue to drive forward with innovations like :

• the capability to live stream video using resilient AES256 bit encryption software.
• high resolution audio and video
• An ultra-secure and highly encrypted Dutch designed and built digital evidence management system (DEMS).

The full onboarding of IWitness’ highly experienced team of designers and engineers will further enhance both Lifeline’s current offer and future development opportunities.

We believe that incorporating the IWitness brand is a strategic milestone for Lifeline.  We aim to ensure there is no confusion within the market, and it is clear that Lifeline is a one stop shop for a full Mission Critical communication solution combining a rugged hand-held device, highly intuitive application, dispatcher intelligence, the very best of body worn camera hardware and software technology, plus a large accessories’ portfolio. This is an exciting time for all of us at Lifeline as we continue to expand and forge a safer future for everyone.
